Meet Your Therapist
Greetings Navigators,
The quote above symbolizes my mantra and my hope for others to own their own journey. I am a Psychotherapist who takes pride in owning my own journey because it is my own story. My greatest life challenges and triumphs have molded me into who you see today; educated, confident, nurturing, yet flawed, trauma infused, and perfectly imperfect. I value my authentic self and believe we all can trace life’s imprints to dive into the core of who we are versus what life has conditioned us to be. I hone in on my abilities to help all you navigators explore whichever capacities it is that you seek to grow through, heal from, or transtition into. I truly believe people can become stronger through healthier relationships with themselves and others when equipped with the proper navigational tools. So let me help you explore your life's impressions and move towards your best optimal wellness.
WIFE. MOTHER. THERAPIST. NAVIGATOR.
If I had to sum myself up in four words, those would be it. Each of these words have such depth in my life, and are the pillars of my life impressions. Being a Navigator, has by far, been the most influential of all.
I feel it is important to share about who I am aside from my passion for helping other navigators. However, I want to first say that I am human, I feel, carry emotions, and am constantly learning just like you! I am an Indiana native who initially made my way to Nashville in pursuit of collegiate studies. I enjoy the simple things that require more thought and intentionality than money...although I do enjoy experiences money can buy too!! I absolutely love the Arts in many forms ranging from various styles of dance to abstract expressions of art. However, my favorite of the arts are poetry and music! In my pastime, one may catch me watching movies that are enveloped with spoken word, in the house dancing and cleaning to reggae, or feeling relaxed listening to smooth jazz, gospel, or any move-invoking upbeat tempos. I consider music as my muse that inspires my own writing and helps me in any mood.~ Elizabeth (Pronouns: she, her, hers)
